About the Minnesota Dog Pack

After working as a professional dog trainer for years, in 2018 I completed an intensive program with the renown dog behaviorist and psychologist Todd Langston. Since then, I have developed my own dog behaviorist practice with hundreds of dogs. I have experience with seniors, puppies, aggression, anxiety, and everything in between. I pride myself on my trustworthiness, professionalism, and reliability. I go out of my way to ensure every dog is well-balanced, happy, and healthy by addressing their individual needs.

Training

As a dog behaviorist and psychologist, I offer much more than simple obedience training. I will teach you how to understand and redirect your dog's natural energy. Together we will work to combat the symptoms of insecurity, like aggression and anxiety. Through calm, assertive leadership, we will establish boundaries that mimic an instinctual pack hierarchy, fostering a nurturing environment and a happier, more attentive, balanced dog.

In-Home Training

I offer two hour training sessions in your home with your dog. I can work with you to set up a continual training program to address particular behavioral challenges or sharpen fundamentals. I am also happy to set up one-off sessions reviewing the basics of dog psychology and positive behavior practices.

Initial individual training sessions are $150. Reoccurring sessions are $120. I also offer a puppy package for new dogs under six months old: three sessions for $225.

Board and Train

I also offer weekly board and train packages. These extensive experiences are designed to transform your dog's mindset, carefully honing a calm and balanced disposition. I selectively onboard clients to ensure each dog receives intimate attention. Each program includes an initial onboarding assessment, as well as a followup in-home training session to ensure the behavior is maintained.

One Week Program

The one-week program establishes basic manners and positive behavior patterns, both in the home and on the leash. Throughout the week, dogs will learn:

  • The beginner commands: sit, stay, down, and place.
  • How to walk politely on a leash
  • How to wait at thresholds (like doors and crates)
  • How to wait for food
Although appropriate for all dogs, this is a particularly popular program for puppies.

The one-week programs is $1,200.

Two Week Program

The two-week program builds on these basics and strengthens the lasting power of the training. In addition to the behaviors learned in the one-week program, dogs in this program will also:

  • Learn the advanced commands: recall and sit, down, and place for a duration
  • Address pulling, barking, and hyperactivity on leash
  • Address minor leash reactivity, jumping, and nipping

The two-week program is $2,000.
